i'm back, true NEET, my highest score was probably two to three years ago. i might have hit a whole year. this is my third or so stint as NEET; i consistently fail at reintegrating myself into society. alas, here we are.

7 years here, welfare pays enough and my mum says she would rather me being on welfare than work some shitty slave wage job but her partner always bitches and moans even though he does mexican level work himself.

Welfare pays barely enough, I have a car which most of my welfare bux goes towards outside of vidya.

I would work but nobody wants an antisocial neckbeard who's favourite passtime is lurking the net and playing jrpgs.

I'll throw in, I guess. NEET shut-in for 5 years reporting in. I became a shut-in at the end of High School when i joined the university and got my second job, I hate being a NEET, my gf and coworker constantly complain to me about my seclusion but they dont understand, nobody understands, fucking normals... Several days ago while i was hosting a house party one of my school mates was telling me about some piece of cinema he watched. It was disgusting, I can not understand how these normalfags can enjoy such shallow means of entertainment, I didn't say anything though i dont want anyone to find out that i'm a NEET shut-in.

i think my feelings work differently now. so much denpa and very happy things, which, are only happy on the surface. denpa is actually sad music for lonely people, the cheery parts are because neets need something to keep them feeling okay and happy. and what is better than lolis and idols and such to do the job?

i dont show emotion, but its like a levelling thing, theyre all there, but hidden because of their negative nature and severity. i had to, /jp/.

For me, I would say it's less of a societal thing and more of a bullying myself thing. I've had tons of opportunities to become a well functioning member of society. I threw them away to irrational fears and and the inability to make good judgements in the heat of the moment.

I finished 10th grade, and was going to do 11th in night school but when I went to sign up they told me I'd have to take some daytime classes as well (which went against what they told me originally), which I didn't want to do because I hated the larger class size. Because I didn't plan on just doing nothing with myself forever. I applied for a few jobs but didn't get any of them, after that I just never applied for any more.
