Even if they pulled some hardcore racist's site that was worth nothing to anybody except other racists, I'd complain because they're essentially censoring what they don't like. And this is censorship--the point of censorship is to remove controversial materials from public view.

I'd actually argue that what you say applies to archiving full images in general. 99% of the images you could want from a /jp/ archive are available through iqdb or Google Search by Image. The remaining images are usually /jp/-specific, and I'll bet a lot more people use it for TRIPS 2 KILL SUDO shitposting macros than quality original content (I know I sure do).
