I pretty much like anything except for screenshot LPs, those are fucking boring.

The more narrative style, where the guy shuts up during cutscenes is nice, the group LPs are good too as background noise (RIP T40s).
Even subtitle LPs are pretty good, currently watching Mr Sunabouzu's Cry of Fear Let's Play and it's A++.

For better or worse, 4chan is probably the best imageboard for general things. All the smaller *chan are either abandoned CP dumps or have nazi mods that run it like a forum and ban for disagreeing with them. 4chan also doesn't have huge click though donation begging intermissions and for the most part, is always up.

Sure, moot may be a fag sometimes and the mods could act a little better, but on the whole, it is pretty good. There is a reason why no one will ever leave.

Well I'll take back what I said a little. There are good Japanese programmers, including Web developers. Some of them do cool stuff with the latest standards.

I think the largest problems are that mobile devices have always been bigger in Japan, which is why you get those sites clearly designed for a smaller window (though I'm guessing they have faster mobile internet since they're all graphics-heavy and often have Flash movies).
And then you look at stuff like Shift-JIS, which is better than UTF-8 for Japanese text. It's smaller and easier to understand. 2channel posters aren't going to type in Klingon any time soon, so why care? Not to mention people were pissed off by Han unification. Normally "the old standard isn't broken, so we'll continue to use it" is retarded, but in this case it kind of makes sense.

A shitty web `developer' can make things look much nicer with CSS than they can with a million <font> and <center> tags. And their abuse of tables is awful. My ideal Web would be plain HTML files and then I could choose my own fonts/backgrounds/whatever. You can do this in your browser already, but most of the time they're overriden by whatever the designer wanted.
