$150 isn't exceptionally good.

I managed to sell all my gold for $200 alone to some idiots after the first week. Ended up making $50 more of gold the next week and I just got rid of the character for $100.

Unfortunately the game is already on a decline so the buyer market is kind of small and the accounts don't really fetch anywhere near the prices for WoW accounts and the such, then again there is much less time invested in the sold characters since the game just came out.

Not that guy, but it is. There's some bizarre gaps between each class' soloing capabilities.

While with a slayer you will do knockdown->leaping->dead for EVERY mob, a mystic will stand there spamming metamorphic blast/smite for ages until each mob dies. AND YOU WILL NEVER GET ANY OTHER SKILLS

I partly blame westernization for holding up and cutting content. On the other hand politics and GvGs just stupid. Democracy is a really retarded way to decide ruller and GvGs simply pointless since there's literally no award. It makes me sad, because game got nearly best combat engine I ever seen in modern mmorpgs. And yeah... playing as elin do make your aroused on daily basis

It's like that for plenty of games, but there is always a high demand for gold and toons in the first week because the total amount of money circulating through the economy is still low and auction house prices aren't stable. I remember on Valley of Titans, The T12 enigmatic slayer weapon was fetching prices of 10k. A shit ton of people want to get that shit as early as possible and it just so happens some of those people are retards with disposable income.

Well when I played with my friend (me as lancer, he as slayer) we soloed all BAMs up to level 30, after that you usually need a healer, but thats it, with tank and healer you can easily do BAMs with 3 persons. When we overleveled BAMs by 2-3 levels we could even do it in 2.

You can do all the BAM quests with 3 people. If you have a healer almost any class can tank as long as you keep it off the healer. With a lancer you can even do some BAMs without a healer.

If you just want to level you can just skip the BAM quests. They usually only give a little more exp than normal quests.

I am, indeed, still playing. I paid for an additional 3 months because I love my Elin, and I plan to play pretty much forever ever after. Unfortunately, the game isn't really that fun. I still play a lot, I have a 60 Warrior and 51 Lancer, but I hate running dungeons and the nexus events are retarded. That's really all there is to do at the end of the game, except for killing other players. And, while I love PvP, I can't keep up because I hate running dungeons and don't have the gear for it.

I started out creating my own guild on Valley of Titans with four other (online) friends of mine. We had me as the Warrior tank, and a healer, and three damage dealing classes, so it worked perfectly for a party, but two of them fell way behind in leveling and stopped playing, and one of them decided to be a sheep and join the /a/ guild, and quit a couple weeks later. The guild still has around 70 people in it, but most are pretty asocial, and I don't really like the guild anymore. The one remaining friend and I decided to quit and join the /a/ guild. Here's to hoping they aren't all shitposters and that they can at least bring some semblance of fun to this game.

The best thing to come out of Tera is my lovely waifu, for me at least, but the figure is quite excellent too. I wish it was modeled as a Warrior rather than a Mystic, but I suppose I should be happy that there's a figure at all.
