I get all my informations about WW2 planes from shmups.
From what I can recall, the Junkers 87 appears in Aero Fighters 3 and is most notable for being piloted by a Scandinavian guy donning a Viking helm and some other old man as his wingman.
No other details worthy of mention, apart from the lame bomb: just a normal explosion with a small radius, not enough to clear the whole screen.

One concept was a sort of time-fused or height-activated shell of some sort. Basically, it was supposed to explode in the general area of a target, it's shiny metal bits would be shrapnel and perforate an aircraft. Back in the day, aircraft was fragile enough for this to be overkill in most situations, especially if you're the guy planning on going into Berlin, where you'd get shot with 88mm shells.

Another concept was with the German quad guns. Basically a rapid firing gun that shot from all 4 barrels simultaneously. This makes the possible hit area larger, and thus easier. Small fighters were easily clipped from the 20mm rounds they fired and only needed a few rounds to hit on the same wing to tear it off. Needless to say, this'd only work for close, low flying aircraft.
