This was something that just came to mind, and I wanted to find something out.

I'm pretty much a sucker for anything with choice systems, so I like most all VNs. Clannad is my first and favorite VN, Shuffle was decent, and both Da Capo games bored me to death (although the second was a little better). Both the Shuffle and Da Capo protags were so generic I can barely remember them, so no, probably not. Tomoya started out really annoying, but turned out to be a decent guy who I'd really respect in real life. The first After Story ending tore me to pieces, since I wasn't spoiled about anything.
