So why Yukari allowed ZUN to make a game based on Magical dump site? (harsh but true) Isn't Gensokyo supposed to be a secret shelter for forgotten legend/occult/magic thing? Isn't it more dangerous to Gensokyo and it's inhabitant if this magical shelter revealed to the world? Why? What is Yukari planning? And why ZUN do that?

Gensokyo is a fantasy land. Things that are no longer, and things that are forgotten, go in there. Therefore, it's become quite overpopulated. If people on the outside know about Gensokyo, and more importantly, start believing that it actually exists, the influx of outside stuff will stop. It's in Gensokyo's best interest to become widely known to avoid actually becoming a dumpster for our old fridges and iPods.

If it's anything like Umineko or that Merlin series enough people need to believe in magic for it to exist and work if everyone didn't then the fabric of Gensokyo itself would probably fall apart.

think of Gensokyo like the law of energy, energy can never just disappear it will always convert into something else so maybe the lost and forgoten things of this world transfer to Gensokyo.

Theory 3 youkai need humans for survival if no one believed in Gensokyo no one would try to find it and get "lost" inside, that means no food for Youkai and Youkai extinction

What if its not a plan and ZUN just decided to present his adventures he had as fiction. What if yukari doesnt care because she knows even the few people who do honestly vehemently believe because of it wont be able to cause any trouble or get in anyhow?
