I vaguely remember Nero, the roman emperor, marrying a trap. IIRC, the ceremony was lavish, the "bride" was dressed like a queen, and I do mean an actual queen, not the harlotesque abominations you see running around, if as I remember the narrator correctly, "kissed him tenderly on the lips".
