How old are you?

Maybe you can join the military..?

Where you do live, OP?

>> No.8976262

why are you getting kicked out, to start?

if your parents have any human decency in them, just tell them you can't survive on your own and will end up dying if left alone.

please dont be upset that this is a personal blog, rather, treat it as a helpful guide and real life example to what might happen to you one day, because you never actually think the day will come until it does, you know?

I went through the same thing OP. I ended up having to move in with relatives, get a job, and pay them rent every month. Work is shit. If you can do it try to get in college or get a career you might enjoy or else one day you'll have to deal with the realization that you're in your twenties with a dead end job even a monkey could do and you can't afford to quit because you never have enough money for anything else after paying your bills.

I pretty much got kicked out at 18 OP, my mother couldn't deal with me being gay. I had just quit a part time job and was almost broke. I stayed at some cheap ass hostel for a week with all my junk. (major awkward) With some speedy internet searching and getting a minor credit from my bank, I was able to find a student home program. (Get a room with the bare essentials on furniture, shared bathroom and kitchen, really cheap) Since then I've been working part time while going to school and supporting myself. Am actually really glad I got out, living alone is awesome.

Just thought my story might give you an idea on what to do.

sounds interesting and living alone is a very appealing thing, but leaving my room to go to a job throughout the week as well as the accumulation of debt to follow school is not very appealing at all... nobody can win in this world, hmm... thank you for your insight

i used to have a job and i used to go to university as well, so i know exactly what it is

>> No.8976377

>>8976355

Well, you're flat out broke so you need some sort of loan or something from the bank. Just look for a room mate to stay with if you don't want to go to school. Am afraid you'll still have to work though :/

I'm currently in the same situation OP

I've got less than 2 months, I'm doing all the applications I can and even then it will just be a life of suffering for a meager wage.

Choices will be to either live in misery for as long as I can, join the military, or die.

Joining the military here in Canada is actually more competitive than you think. This is due to the proportionately smaller force size (total less than 100K, <0.3% of pop vs. 1%~ for Murrica) and increase in applicants in these tough times. Even NCMs will have to face a selection panel now. But ironically the military may be a great experience for NEETs and people with some social anxiety. That is, the environment literally forces you to get used to working in teams and embracing some discipline. Both of which are useful for life in general. Either way prepare to learn to toughen the fuck up OP and confront your fears. I wish you the best of luck and hope you try and put a positive spin on this situation as well for a better frame of mind. That is, it's a chance to make something of yourself.

thanks for that. thing is, i've had enough of that in life... i need everyone to cut off their conversations with me and let me live by my own rules. i get extremely paranoid/angry when someone is talking because it's all empty, kind of hard to describe. anyway, the whole world is a [cruel] joke and going to the military is like becoming part of it instead of seeing it for what it is. i feel really elevated when i'm in solitude and have peace alone, in my room. it's the happiest i can be, and i'm sure every neet on /jp/ can relate, but alas, i was handed non-tolerant guardians, and that can't go on any longer

Wrong buddy. You'll eventually work your way there but you have to pay your dues. New JOs will be assigned positions where they will indeed see the frontlines one way or another. Navy logs are assigned to a warship for their first tours. Army logs (greatest in number) are assigned to a supply platoon (think a few supply trucks and a LAV) and I assure you insurgents love to shit up your convoys. Fuckers. Air force logs will still be deployed to front line airbases (more dangeous if you supply/maintain Griffs and other helos in the field since they don't always fly from some well-fortified airbase with a nice long runway). And if you're a new NCMs that's been thrown into a log unit, your first unit will almost always be one of these. So do your best and hope your JO knows what he's doing haha.
tl;dr: There is noteable danger as a junior log officer/NCM. Air force would still be your best bet if you're adamant about not getting hurt though.
Fuck that was long. Night all.
