For those wondering, the text OP posted is a Chinese song from the second Sino-Japanese war, it references the Mukden incident which was when shit went down hard.
Yesterday he posted an unofficial nationalist anthem from that time, the day before he posted the PRC anthem.

Agreed. Either they copy or they make yet another piece of historical fiction.

That said, while they have made modern day romance dramas similar in content their neighbors, there's not much else at the moment. I know the time will come when a new generation of Chinese start releasing new, interesting, and modern works, but right now there ain't much. Taiwan is slightly better.
