Jornal Hoje is a cesspool of media manipulation and dissemination en-masse, just like the rest of free Brazilian television. The reporter does a good job of showing off a little bit of everything (even though I've personally never been to Akihabara), but he frequently makes comments about how the people in Japan dress in weird ways.

I can produce the English subtitles if there's a demand for it, but ye be fairly warned. Don't take this shit seriously, because that's what makes everyone else in the world think that Brazilians are just monkeys living in mud huts.

That being said, I kinda want to go to Akihabara now. ;_;

In some sort of ironic level, they're justified. For example, I could possibly pin all of the blame of the memes and jokes on the Brazilian favelas. The people that live in them are refugees from the agricultural exodus that came to the cities looking for jobs. Since they had no money or ways of buying any land, they basically invaded government territory and started "swelling" the city population.

The population in the favelas are the scum of human society. They smell, have no manners, attach themselves to low-grade jobs, don't study and most of the time choose not to do anything at all besides drinking and reproducing at a truly suicidal rate. The favelas hijack telephone and power lines to give themselves free living conditions. The culture that is disseminated in these places ranges from listening to music about prostitution and how doing crimes is fun. Instead of banishing these people, the government started to actually accept them as individuals, giving them various things like Bolsa Familia (a small sum of cash to poor families with newborns, which actually does nothing but AGGRAVATE the reproduction problem), paving roads and building cheap apartment complexes to them. These people receive cheap internet connections and flock to online games, where they truly display they ignorant behavior. Eluded by the government's goodwill behavior, the favellians vote for and only for the corrupt politicians that currently rule our country.

And just look at it. It looks akin to something that was built out of shit and spit. I could go on and on about how the people in the favelas are retarded and how they should just die, but the fact remains; they outnumber the cultured, knowledgeable Brazilian anons 10 to 1 and their influence causes us all to look shitty on the internet. While they exist, Brazil will never be respected anywhere.

Stop being fucking stupid.

People in general are lazy and would do nothing about their lifes. The only difference is that people in 'favelas' can't study because they have no money, and BR public schools are shit, while the people with money can study in a good school and they'll be stupid people that do nothing and drink all the time, but with a good job.

The worst thing in Brazil are the faggots that think like you because they watch television where stupid people say things like that all the time "huehaeuahueaheah killing is the only way to save Brazil".

Also
>They smell, have no manners, attach themselves to low-grade jobs, don't study and most of the time choose not to do anything at all besides drinking and reproducing at a truly suicidal rate

I will admit that our country is boasting about the wrong things (though the fact that it won the world cup five times in a row is a fact and I've never really seen it boast about samba outside of Carnival, which is a Brazilian holiday and even THAT'S very contained). However, the hookers and sex industry swell from the favelas , which disseminate the culture throughout the means I've already stated.

Kids from the favelas want nothing with proper education and 95% of them want to grow up to be soccer players like the ones you mentioned. Go to a middle-class neighborhood in Brazil. People want to go to universities. They want to be doctors, lawyers and engineers. Far different from the arrogant kids in the favelas that listen to funk all day and want nothing more than free food, drugs, sex and soccer. They want the easy way out, just like the rest of the population there.

If they didn't exist, there would be no market for either of these things. Different politicians would be elected. Things would be different, I can guarantee you that.

>>8964031
...I feel like you haven't read any of my post. Besides the fact that you have no idea what you're talking about.

>The worst thing in Brazil are the faggots that think like you because they watch television where stupid people say things like that all the time "huehaeuahueaheah killing is the only way to save Brazil".

One would think that you would figure out that I don't watch Brazilian open television exactly because it's filled with misleading information (albeit, none of the information you mentioned, this is just my point of view about favelas).

>Besides the reproducing part you described a NEET.

You don't seem to understand what a NEET is. Stop embarrassing yourself.

>> No.8964058

People comment all the time about how education on Brazil is shit and how it's really hard to win at life here. I started with nothing. I went to one of these "shitty" schools and barely had any money to buy books, the thing is if education is shitty for me it is also shitty for everybody else. Getting into college in Brazil is really easy and all you need to do is go to a library and study study and study some more. It's simple. I've got my dream job in one of the "shittiest" countries in the world.
