I have two half sisters but I never spend time with them and I don't know much about them because we grew up in seperate households. I'm sure they don't feel like little sisters to me much like I don't feel like an older brother to them. Whenever we see eachother nothing much is ever said.

On the other hand, I have a younger cousin who I spend more time with and kind of look at a little sister. There's never a dull moment with her. She always seems to have something funny or interesting to say or ask and she likes to help me cook. She's one of the youngest out of a family of 11. I don't know if this makes me see her more as a little sister or if perhaps maybe I feel sorry for her to live with so many siblings.

Should I be ashamed at feeling closer to her than to my actual sisters?
