How can an intelligent, rationally-minded person believe Jews were systematically killed in "extermination camps"? And this happened to six million people? Think about it for five minutes. An anecdote, especially eyewitness testimony, is weak evidence to prove something, which is where we agree, but where you make the fallacy is that you hold the negation of said eyewitness testimony to be strong evidence to disprove something, when it cannot do that since it is weak evidence in the first place.

Also, I should mention that even if no means of mass killing was ever proven to exist, there always remains good old starvation, which I would imagine would be quite the staple means of death given the established existence of the camps. One would not merely need to provide basic provisions in order for death to proceed in a natural fashion, thus, the burden of proof is on the holocaust deniers that the Nazis actually treated their camp prisoners good, and not merely not massacre them.

No, I am simply saying they don't *prove* anything. I am not implying a negative or positive effect, but the absence of such.

Agreed, and it did happen. Many inmates also died of poor health or disease, or were even killed. These things happen in prisoner of war camps. We should respect the people who suffered.

Nobody is claiming this. It was during a war. Both the Allied and Axis military had low food provisions. It was still an internment camp.
