How does /jp/ cope with their parents telling them to move out and do something with their lives?

I've been living on welfare for a couple of years. The trick is to be nice. Welfare workers have a shitty job and more often than not a shitty live in general. Cultural enrichment agents treat them like crap so if you're always nice and understanding of everything they say, they will like you. They don't like their job and if you're asking nice and tell some story about how you currently have to care for your sick mother or something, they'll give you a free ride.
If this doesn't work, go to a doctor and get yourself diagnosed with depression. You can drag that out for years without the job center hassling you to apply somewhere.

Since I don't know you personally, you may be right. However, I spent much of my life thinking the same thing, until I tried Prozac to treat a couple of vascular issues. My mental state improved dramatically and I lost many of my "autistic" tendencies, which are really just from OCD.

And this is coming from someone who, even before, had decent number of friends, is heading to med school, and generally felt comfortable socially. Depression =/= manic depression. Plus, you don't have much to lose by trying.

Oh and relax.
How I made friends with the bottle is I bought 2 litres of some storebrand vodka (I'd recommend not the absolute cheapest, storebrand should be the minimum you fall to) and cuddled with it all summer. The liquid in the bottle shrank as my glass kept needing to be refilled.
So anyway
1. Relax

4. Don't force it down, a relaxed swallow is better than a 'swallow as hard as I can'. You need a gentle swallow.

Don't put ice in your drinks, unless you're really fond of the taste.

Room temperature will go down far easier. Frankly, mixing your drinks is a waste of time anyway. The fastest way to get used to the taste is to just have what you're drinking straight. Start with sips until you can get them down without gagging, even if it takes hours for you to get drunk, so what? Adapt to the taste of alcohol and the whole thing gets piss easy, and you can move on to finding things you actually like rather than just sticking with what goes does easiest for you.
