There have been some bumps in the road here and there, but nobody's ever quite trumped Aya. A certain Touhou came pretty close and is still a close second, but she'll never beat my precious wind god girl.

I didn't really have a "favorite" early on, in fact the only Touhou I actually knew about was Chen due to bkub's comics being posted everyfuckingwhere.
Later on when I actually tried the games, I noticed her, kept poking around and it kinda snowballed. Never changed.

Several years ago when I was first getting into it I liked Alice, due to Rozen Maiden and dolls.

Having beaten all the ex stages, I feel a strong attachment to Nue and Koishi, the first EX stage bosses I cleared and thus the two people I saw the most while learning to play the game.

Kogasa Tatara is my favorite touhou.

I have always really liked Reimu and Marisa and never really had a favorite touhou since there were so many to choose from, but once I saw Satori. I knew who my favorite was.
Plus the thought of her only smiling because of a silly thought I just had just seems heartwarming.

I'm still pretty fond of Yuyuko, and i've been liking Reisen ever since I started maining her in Hisoutensoku.

Nope. Actually, this has been a somewhat more recent development. Used to be Sakuya, but I slowly grew more attached to Kanako ever since I defeated her about a year and a half ago. But I have to say that every Touhou is precious, so I like all of them, even if I admittedly pay less attention to some of them.

I don't really have a favorite, but I'm not as invested in touhou as many /jp/ers are. I like Yama, Tewi and Marissa more than the rest though, they tend to have stylish art, or in Tewis case, be stupidly sexy.
