Just stop expecting John Doe to go to work for 9 hours a day, then commute home and check his emails so he can finish his report for tomorrow, then get six hours of sleep before the cycle repeats. National Socialism and Fascism weren't about Capitalism as the main priority of society.

In both Communistic and Capitalistic systems, the economy is the number one issue. Capital is how the Universe works. It's an abstraction and social contract for potential energy or the exchange of work. In Communism, the state controls the flow of capital, and workers ideally are both employees and shareholders in the system. In practice, Communist citizens never see a dividend payout, the state always diverts money elsewhere, it's pretty much just a criminal organization. People are a secondary issue in such systems, the economic system takes priority. The individual is destroyed completely in Communism, it's anti-humanist, even though they try to sell it as a form of humanism.

Under Fascism and National Socialism, the actual people of the nation are the number one issue, both on the individual level and the collective whole. Financial gain, control of capital, and certain freedoms are secondary and take a back seat and are driven for the benefit of this prime goal. Capital was remolded to uplift people. No one who was a part of the nation was forgotten.
