Hi /jp/.
Girlfriend is going to learn japanese next year and I think that could be interesting. The problem is that I know nothing about japanese literature or philosophy.
Any recomendations?

Because when I want advice on literature and philosophy, my first thought is, "Let's ask /jp/!"

Confucius and Sun Tsu are two of the best japanese philosophers. Check them out.

"All things Japanese welcome!" is one of those things we're never going to recover from. Like "use sage to purge threads faster" and "use a tripcode to protect your identity".

Common misconception. They are japanese. At the time they were born, part of contineltal china belonged to Japan. They were born in those regions. They spoke and wrote in Japanese but they're considered chinese because they were born on chinese land and not on the Japanese islands.

Seriously, the art of war bt Sun Tsu. Why do you think the Japanese have the stereotype of being the nation of proud warriors?

I like threads like this. It's kind of refreshing to see /jp/ unanimously agree on something and be united in flaming.

Thanks OP, you cuntsniffer.
