I'm confused by the question.

Are you trying to find out if there's people that support the Touhou franchise being released on Steam, or people who support Touhous signing up to play games with them?

maybe the only way , to make the game more popular on the west but steam takes much money for letting you use their shop.

Also I doubt the game would be popular even if its on steam , if I consider how hard it is and it takes some time to learn and remember the boss fights.

If it would get popular , and like every normal person who wants to expand his company , I am sure Zun would try to make it more casual so more people can buy it and enjoy or add a extra easy difficult setting
