How does /jp/ get it's food without leaving your place?

Do you order it from Amazon?

>> No.8894911

I live in the UK so there are Tesco and Asda services that deliver food to my door.
UK is a smaller country than the US so it works okay.

Does the US not have these things? Like do Wal-Mart/whatever not do deliveries?

I would be completely lost if ASDA didn't bring food to my door.

The US is just too big for it to be economic.
Actually recently I've just been walking to the nearest supermarket and buying food there. It was just being too awkward having a truck stop outside my cave.
I time it so I get there as soon as it opens on Saturday morning (8am), and there's like no-one around. It's great.

Let's go down to tesco and grab some crates of cider

I still leave the house occasionally though I always buy in bulk so the supermarket visits stay around one per month.

No, but there are a couple commercial independent services that will do it for you locally.

They charge a massive markup though, and it's more for old people with no legs and tons of cash rather than NEETs skimping by and afraid to go out.

Unfortunately I have to leave to pick up my food, but only once every three months or so. If I had a little more cash available I could probably change to a bi annual schedule.

>> No.8895360

I buy in bulk from a Kroger very late at night, and use the self checkout out so I don't have to be bothered by anyone.

People like you are outside.

There's a small grocery store literally besides my house. It's the biggest convenience ever. I just go down there somewhat once a week, around the time it's closing since then there's only one or two guys leaving.
I buy some instant ramen, big cookie packages, food for my cat and lots of Coca Cola, put them on a box, and get back inside. I leave the box in my kitchen until it's empty, then go back.

No worries about anything.

>> No.8896820

There is this one service that goes to a restaurant, orders food you pick, and delivers it to your house. It's only in certain areas, and I don't remember the name. But man, what I wouldn't do for that

It's strange, I'm a good law abiding citizen, and cops still scare me as a hispanic. Maybe it's in the blood.

but to answer OP's question, my mom cooks for me.
