Where do you guys hide your dakimakura/other otaku things when you have people over?

I usually put them in my closet but people are nosy as fuck. They've almost found it along with my onahole a couple of times.

I don't have this problem.

>> No.8885878

Inside a box in a other room, my mom probably knows about it but I couldn't care less.

key locked chest that can serve as a seat with a blanket on it.

That's what I'd go for, but I don't have to deal with this problem.

Now why would you do that?

All I have is figures and games.
All my friends and co workers/family know I have the stuff and dont mind. Besides my figures my room is normal no otaku stuff anywhere. Having all that crap just isn't my style.

>> No.8885912

Having people over?

What are you some kind of normal?
And no, I wouldn't hide shit. If someone is being a big enough pain in my ass to be in my house it's their problem if they see shit they don't like. I wouldn't even move my piss bottles.

How would a neet come around monthly, living alone in a apartment with only a neet-benefit? As a neet who is going to move out soon I'm wondering if 700 euro a month is enough...

>> No.8886032

Um I have no friends that come over, so why would I have to hide it? If you have friends you need to get off jp.

>> No.8886037

>>8886008
700 american is enough, and I think our rent prices area little higher than average.

The biggest thing is finding someplace is really really low rent, then you just scrimp on the rest. Use a netbook instead of a laptop, unplug your refrigerator, don't use an electric stove, if you have to pay for heat, simply keep it off and wear layers instead.

All in all, I have 150-200 of disposable income a month after all my living expenses are taken care of.
If you can't get food stamps, or euro food stamps, then prepare to get very familiar with rice and oats.

Rather, I meant use a netbook instead of a desktop (and 5 monitors).

Keep that bill low as possible.

I'm a Eurofag, once I move out I also have to take my cat with me, and I'm a heavy smoker. And I'll probably never being able to get used to a netbook sadly enough.

The luxury life I'm having right now will be over ;_;

>> No.8886076

I stick my dakimakura in my drawer (no cushion) and my mouse pad in with it.

>> No.8886117

>>8886061
Cats are easy to hide if it isn't a very loud one.
As for smoking, well I'm sure you can think of something.

As for a computer, if yours is dated enough the power drain won't be too bad. But if you're running like seven fermis and a wall's worth of monitors, then you're pretty fucked.

It's all very doable, you just need to keep your budget in mind. The euro is still pretty strong too, it should just be that much easier for you.

>>8886117
I'll probably try to find a place that allows pets, I own a i7 2600k, and use 3 monitors. Though, people are saying I should look into accompanied living. Really not sure about that as I have social anxiety. Also heard something about perhaps my rent being paid by the government or so. I'm really unsure about all of this. But I DO want to move out asap.

I don't hide my dakimakura. When, if ever, my old friends feel like coming over, they'll be tucked under my bed sheets. And if they ask me if they can see the whole thing I won't refuse.

Don't do a house share, especially if you aren't a student. You end up in a house full of crazed creepy drug addicts knocking on your door every night who will eventually kick down your door. I know from experience.
