What service do you use to order your goods from Japan? How has it worked out for you?

Here's a list of everything I could find. I've assembled a short list of testimonials as well. More would be welcome.

>They can't give you estimates or prices for EMS until after you've bought and received the item, then they charge you for EMS. If you don't pay it, they destroy your account. Had it happen to a friend.

>Yokatta is good for people that are new to proxy services in general. Professional looking website and real easy manner of communication, it's all through email.
Only used them once though.

>My favorite is Tenso. Also professional looking and is backed by Rakuten, which is pretty much Japanese Amazon.
>Used Tenso many times

>I prefer Tenso because you make the order yourself and just put in their shipping address. Real quick and simple. Also more useful if the item in question is rare and soon to sell out. Yokatta makes the order themselves, you just tell them what to buy. Yokatta is also more expensive. Both have good customer service.

>I'd say use Yokatta if you have no clue what you are doing, Tenso if you know your shit.

Feels somewhat retarded to have to use a proxy service for a site that can ship overseas already, I'm looking at you amazon.co.jp

I used japantoy.biz about a year ago and they were really good. They'd even buy extremely lewd doujinshi and will hold items for you to build up an order from multiple sellers.

It's not like Amazon owns its own fleet of ships.

Do they?
That would be cool.

No but neither does amiami, jlist, paletweb and a slew of other websites, its just that amazon insists on a single shipping option with DHL rather than things like EMS at least, which would probably cost something reasonable rather than $50
