You should try Vietnam or Thailand before you try Japan. Russia or East Europe if you want a white girl. The Philippines is a good option too. But you're missing the point. There is no huge almost global desire to escape the country. You have to convince some doormat Japanese girl to go against the grain of her society and marry a gaijin and theoretically leave her culture. That takes courage, not a quality of a doormat.
Or you can go somewhere where the women are looking to escape, and willing to make a deal. No matter how demanding you are you'll never be as strict, oppressive or dead-end as life in some of those countries so the girl will serve you almost doubting life could be any easier. Japanese girls aren't as bad as Americans or Europeans, but Japan isn't a complete shithole.
