Is training just there to get a boost out of a unit when you don't want them anymore? I just accidentally killed off one of my better warlords and didn't even get anything out of it.

Also, whats up with some of them just having better stats? Shutai & the event warlords have better stats for no reason, its not like they have bad abilities either.

Probably when the game actually comes out, they'll be considered "rare" cards that are well rarer or cost more money.

Also, attacking with the wrong group, check command center no cancel button, hit retreat, they return to the main base, 2 hours wasted

Is anyone else going to stop playing seriously after getting to Lvl. 8? I don't see much benefit after completing most of the achievements/events listed on the forums. Of course, I'm still going to log in each day and like the FB page to get the cards, but other than that, I don't think I'm planning to conquer everything around me.

Then again, this is someone who is stationed in the rear center position, away from the all the colored territories.

Actually 2 attack, but yeah she's pretty weak.

Besides the ougi shown in image, she can increase crop production by 3% and increase warlords attack by 3%.

Basically useless, but Liu Bei was never a fighter. Should have at least given her some useful domestic skills then at least.

Because she's mediocre in combat on top of being a infantry commander.

You could instead have someone like Cao Cao commanding spear units, or crazystats Shuyu to give you a large boost in attack power.

The only use I could see is if you knew exactly what the enemy defense power was and had more than enough to take it, you could send Ryuubi along to minimize losses, but otherwise minimizing losses doesn't do jack shit when you lose your entire army because you don't have enough power.

I decided to blow up mini-castles all day instead and fell from 12th to 31st.

Capturing tiles is too time consuming, is there some easier way to deal with moving units from tile to tile than 1) clicking their location from warlord sidebar
2) center tile
3) choose new tile
4) click name
5) assign warlord and expand/garrison
6) confirm?

It's quite a hassle to do this with 4 warlords when it only takes 4 minutes for each to require another input set.

At least I got a L15 weapon with 31 [20 (+11)] attack that I'll never be able to use before the wipe, even gaining 300-500 exp per mini castle.

So how does using another base as a forward base work? While I know I would have to upgrade the command center to launch multiple warlords from it, how does the units you reinforced that base with work?
If I take 20 archers from my first base with level 5 upgrades to a base with no upgrades, will they function like as if they had no upgrades?

Well, you should research unit types and at least start getting out spearmen, probably. Spearmen take a fair while to train. It's taken me quite a long while to build up my army of spearmen, solely because of build timer, even with L14 spear barracks.

I'm in kind of a situation. The only way for me to claim more land now is to spend hours marching away from my base, since the only thing I can currently do in my vicinity is defeat the same mini castles over and over again. Guess I'll prepare 300 or so units to last a while out in the wild.

This is pretty scary, I'm going to be placing a 3rd base so, so far from my mains. Hopefully no one blows it up before I can shuttle my spearmen and archers there and then settle my warlord team there.

Does anyone know how defense works? If I bring my 800 spears to this base and someone attacks, do they win if they take out the 1 warlord with 125 units that I'll have stationed there? Or will they get pushed back and have to push through the reserves too?

I don't want to lose my base to something stupid like "those 800 spearmen don't exist because you had 125 archers equipped on your warlord and she lost".

How fast do mini-castles regenerate? I'm railing on them with a ton of infantry but will have to wait a bit before the next wave comes, will they recover fully by then or is the recovery slow? About 2200 attack with spearmen with confusion on their side wasn't enough, I sent a wave of infantry for 1200 attack after that and they couldn't make a dent either.

If one player collected 5 infantry warlords and leveled them all up to hold hundreds of Guardsmen, that'd be incredibly nasty to ever try to push though. 52.5(?) defense per unit before Ougis, which could push them up to ridiculous heights. Of course that would take an enormous amount of dedication by the player at the expense of other things, but, it's a possibility.

Indeed, that's why it would depend on what you're doing. If you were working up for a 4x spear warlord attack on a strong player's main base, then sure.

You'd be looking at numbers like 220 hours to load out only level 4 warlords though. If you have 3 bases that could produce 'em, all the better, would be some hefty research times and fees and upgrade research for that, certainly.

You could attack with 4 125-spearmen warlords every 40 hours or so, comparably, or considerably less with the meager investment of L1 spear barracks and easier research in your sub-bases.

Just depends what the intent is.

But generally, a army like this would be far more than enough. You'll want at least 3k attack power as castles can be anywhere from 1k defense to 5k from what I've seen.

Bah, all of the non-mini castles in a like 20 square radius has been cleared. Looks like I'll be stuck at 166 territory.

Oh well, I've got a army that can destroy any mini-castle with enough resource income to continually reinforce and replace with better units. Cao Cao's unit of 80 halberds takes forever to reinforce though.

Mini-castles defense goes from 1k to 5k. The one I attacked had 4.5k.

Honestly what I'd recommend? Get both of them to level 2 so they can have 80 spearmen each. Maybe replace a few spearmen with halberds if you get to them while you're still leveling. Do you have Cao Cao or a spear specialization general to replace Kosonsan with? If not, pick your warlord with the most attack and best ougi to lead the spearmen.

I figured I'd actually check to see how much smith upgrades are doing for me by sending a 1 attack inf commander with a 25 attack halberd.

The results were...less than what I hoped. I have 9 smith upgrade halberds. Could someone who actually has a enemy non-mini castle within 20 tiles test this? With any unit under a different specialization warlord with any level smith upgrade beyond 1.

1 attack warlord not required. 1 attack is 25 power, so keep that in mind when you test it.

Or you can do what I just did. Grab all of your generals and fill them with disposable soldiers, pack your backs to the Shoku border and start claiming land. Every vacant land I conquered gave me 85 acheivement. I have 4 generals. They can conquer land every 3 minutes. I lose around 2-3 men per vacant lot.

Doing the math, I shouldn't have been surprised that it got me much more achievement points within this last few hours than that damn resource trading got me last week. I'm now rolling with two bases and pushing to 100 territories in no time at all. As an added bonus, I can just hear those Shoku untermensch getting slaughtered where they stand, and it feels marvelous.

If you are talking about minicastles then that is enough, but i would recommend giving Sousou 60 spearmen and Kakouen 60 archer, no need to mix them.
If you can dispatch all of them you'll probably win, if you can dispatch 2 send Sousou and Kakouen, if you can only dispatch one at a time level up your command center.

I had managed to stay in the top 25 even all by my lonesome for a while. Unfortunately, it takes too much effort to continually attack tiles--gotta tip my proverbial hat to those guys at the top, that's some special kind of OCD clicking prowess they've got going on.
