As you look back on your life, and count up all the mistakes and failures and miserable pathetic flops you've accumulated, think about this: once, I used to do the same, and hate myself for being so pathetic.

Then, as I matured, I realized that it is absolutely unpossible to NOT fuck up the first time you attempt pretty much anything; and that you simply need to make the fuck-ups before you can learn, really learn some important life lessons. You can't have somebody tell it to you, you've got to live it, experience it, before it sinks in. That's why they say "youth is wasted on the young." 'They' are older people who wish they could've learned all they know in one year and spent years 15-25 being uberbosses, but tough titty, shit don't work that way. You're not doing anything wrong.

So here's to celebrating surviving another year of massive fuckups. Look back on those fuckups and wave, because you're never going to see those cocksuckers again. It's like a secondary immune system - once you've suffered it once, you'll murder those fuckers in the crib the instant you see them developing again.

You have improved this past year; you just need to realize it.

Primarily because it originated on /v/ and soon moved to /r9k/, and /r9k/ is worse then /jp/ in every conceivable way.

Think about that. Worse. Then. /jp/.

Also, it's unclear why you have to greentext to relay a story instead of simply, you know, telling it, as a cohesive narrative, using those paragraph-writing skills we all learned in grade school. Thus using greentext feels rather... unnecessary, and smacks of reddit-style communication (see picture.)
