ZUN allows the production of a Touhou anime. A respected studio spearheads the effort, and it is given a respectable budget to match.

The catch is that none of the original melodies can be used, and the project must instead make due with an original soundtrack by Yoko Kanno.

Would you find this acceptable?

Wouldn't be good enough. CLAMP ruined Blood-C, an already shit franchise to begin with. CLAMP and Production I.G.

Studio Ghibli could make a Touhou anime and it would be shit.
