Did you shower today, /jp/? Personal hygiene is a very important part of your life.

>> No.8829439

No, I only shower once in two weeks.

This.

It's getting to be troublesome though. My head gets all itchy and weird, and I only change my boxers when I shower. As a result I smell of piss and cum and there are horrible, horrible rashes on my thighs.

>> No.8829455

Last time I took a shower was back in december. Thinking about it, I should probably take one again.

Homus don't shower. They just go back in time to when they were less dirty.

Well I shower everyday and everytime I go out and it's sunny or I have to do a little exercise that warms my body a bit I get all itchy for some reason. I wish I had money for a dermatologist. One doctor told me I might be allergic to the sun, which is a stupid diagnosis.

>everytime I go out and it's sunny or I have to do a little exercise that warms my body a bit I get all itchy for some reason

Oh god, I get this too, it's horrible. I break out itching whenever there's a slight increase in temperature (even drinking tea or coffee does it to me sometimes).

Wish I knew the cause or how to 'cure' it.

Bodies not used to sweating and excercise and it irritates it, it goes away once you start doing it regularly.

I've recently
become addicted to scrubbing between my toes when I bathe.

I have to shower daily or I feel disgusting... When I place my hand on my forehead and it's all greasy I just feel like a waste.

I may be a waste, but I don't like being reminded by my own hygiene that I am.

>> No.8830652

I've been keeping a habit of showering everyday for a year, which I think was a bad decision. Now my hair gets greasy after just several hours because of excessive washing.

Same here bro. I need to take a shower before I am able to do anything else. Having a super oily skin doesn't help either.

>> No.8830675

>>8830652
The frequency of washing doesn't have anything to do with the oil that your glands produce. Only your hormones dictate the amount. It's because of your perception that you feel it is pumping out more oil, when it does not.

>> No.8830674

>>8830652

After washing your hair with shampoo, for the next few days try only using conditioner. You should be able to go at least 2 days doing this before your hair gets visibly oily.

Over time it'll make it so that your hair doesn't build up oil as quickly because you won't be washing all the natural oils from your hair with shampoo every day.

Also, always use conditioner after shampoo-ing.

Last time I showered was June of 2011. Pretty sure there is a layer of filth over most of my body. If I scratch my arm hard enough the dirt comes off and the skin beneath very pale white. I could scratch your name into it if you like.

Protips for staying healthy while not showering for years on end.

1: Cut your hair off, all of it. No dandruff this way. Also combats scalp psoriasis and fungal infections.

2: Stay cool. If you don't sweat, there's less bacterial buildup

3: Change your underwear semi-regularly. Ideally you should change all your clothes regularly, but your underwear is the most important. Don't ever forget that you shit from there and anything you miss is going to be rubbed against your skin in the meantime. Failure to do this can lead to some pretty nasty fungal infections on the legs, or even worse in your asscrack.

4: Navel, Underarm, and Back-of-the-Ear lint can buildup into some pretty painful fungal infections. Try to wipe that stuff off when you remember.

5: If you have especially oily skin, you should wear long sleeved shirts and pants to stop sebum buildup in your elbow and knee ceases. Your clothes will smell terrible, but you'll be saved from some of more painful pustules.

6: Remember to clear out your ears occasionally. I don't necessarily mean with cutips, but atleast plug your nose and blow once in awhile to keep your ear canals free. If there's too much buildup, you can get hit with some powerful disorientation.

I shower once every two days, and I shower for 45 to 60 minutes. The problem is that shower time is my favourite time of the day, but drying and getting dressed is my least favourite. As a result I enjoy my shower time as long as I possibly can until I start feeling dizzy.

This.

I love to shower, I can think, talk and sing while cooling off or heating up, just letting the water flow over me. It's amazing. But then I suddenly feel like I'll pass out and I have to stop and go to the horrible part.
