Saint Elmo's Pillar and Noachian Deluge are both solid, since they finish combos well and have quick startups. Satellite Sunflower is okay, but really just for cover/curtain fire. Don't expect to do any real damage with it. I don't like her gears personally, though it's probably pretty good if you get them in a corner. And it does leave her kinda open.

And of course, there's always GIGA FLARE, but you shouldn't rely on it since it's fairly easily grazed/blocked. Unless you get them in a 22B/C.

Eh, what's a good combo for Saint Elmo's Pillar? After 5AA 5B does only ~500 damage more than tacking on 5C would. It seems like Noachian Deluge can end a combo for the same amount of damage and give you forced knockdown, and it costs one level less.

Marisa's alternate 623 "Stellar Missile" ignores limit and actually RESETS it if done after 2C. If it were Spring Haze, that combo could go on forever, but for the sake of a combo that actually ends, it was done with Hail. Very obviously a glitch, but it's certainly not a nice one.

The Marisa alt. skill ones and the Tenshi one where they actually got her rock smash into a combo are REALLY cool, and I found 4:25 hilarious. I'm really confused as to how the hell they did a LOT of those, particularly the ones that are really long without spell cards. Those Yuyuko corner loops really scare me..
I don't know why I never considered using dash cancels for Suika's C bombs even though I use them so much with my Marisa..

Marisa's is the only one that takes advantage of a glitch. The ones that are impractical are usually done in Hail weather and would normally require 6 or 7 orbs. A lot of other ones work anywhere, but they have combos that do more damage for less effort and orbs. Modify the first combo shown of Reimu and Marisa slightly and those would be very damaging combos that work on anyone regardless of weather. The first combo shown of Yukari works on everyone, period. I assume Yuyuko's combos work only on tall characters. Komachi's only work during Tempest. Sakuya's alt214 combo seems very possible, but I've yet to try. I've had those Tenshi combos done to me.

Alice is THE WORST matchup for Yukari I know of. Yukari has one of the lowest jumps in the game and no good way to fire up at Alice's high-jump height, meaning dolls get laid and unless you blow tons of spirit flying you can't fire back, and then the dolls still shoot, more spirit down. Ranged melee snuffs parasol spin and the teleport gets shot apart by dolls. Yukari's extra wide/tall hitbox also is a huge problem against Alice.

Best you can do is equip her alt 236 BC tombstone fan then go for 5AAA B C 236 BC for huge spirit damage to break guard, or cancel in your bullets to 623 BC if your opponent dashes out so you have a physical followup. Better yet use Ran to pin them and pelt them with bullets, or use the red/yellow border sparks to force grazing and punish it/break their guard. Yukari's only reliable guard breaks and damage require spellcards/skillcards because her aerial melee is too slow to string from the ground. Though if you find something neat let me know.

God. Can't do it. I know I don't completely suck ass with Yukari, but I can't get close without wasting 3 orbs, and even then the only thing I can do in the air is C, which I can't follow up with anything. On the ground, it's like you miraculously know when I will and will not parasol after C. I think I know now the rage you feel when fighting my Reimu.

Drop bait for Bound for Aoyama. Bait is slow, random and easily grazed. Aoyama is fast, does huge spirit damage on block, can do over 2k damage on hit at high level, can be canceled out of rapidly and will snuff almost any projectile shot at it.
Also make sure to use 214 BC. Oh wait. Worst move in the game.
