Umineko is a babby's first VN of the worst kind. It's a bad series, a clusterfuck of setting and characterization that isn't very well done by any aspect, but which attempts to compensate for its weaknesses by adding in excessive shipping faggotry and META. The NEET anon can see this as the shit it is, and may enjoy it, hate it or be indifferent to it, but all the while recognizing that the series itself, regardless of their opinion, is plain bad.

However, these very aspects that try to smear over the shit of its core make it a breeding ground for normal, sociable, underage faggots who engage in every kind of faggotry both online and in the real world. The metaworld characters all trying their hardest to look cool, the magic, the peculiar, colorful clothes, the whole "colored text" faggotry and everything about the Umineko world fuels their escapist fantasies, while the pity-party character backgrounds, emphasis on love, and the overall preachiness of the whole series make it fit just right with the mary-sueish drives of your average preteen and his sense of unwarranted self-importance towards the world. Exactly the kind of shit that makes normals and underage retards eat this shit right the fuck up.

Umineko is basically THE series to attract the most hated visual novel fanbase known to /jp/, which is why, regardless of individual opinions, it is the responsibility of every anon to troll the fuck out of this franchise and everyone who likes it, and ensure that no Umineko threads ever encourage the normalfags to show their faces here.

Himitsu is pretty heavy shit. The ending is incredibly rage worthy.

Hammer Session is probably her most comedic show so far. I struggled through the boring parts just for her and I'd say it was worth it. The show is basically just like GTO just with worse characters.

I have Bull Doctor downloaded which I've been putting off for a while now. It's a crime/cop drama that she plays a comedic role in I think.

I did watch Hammer Session and Seigi no Mikata.
and a few episodes of Shokojo Seira but didn't like it much they story was too slow and without much humor.

Was thinking to pick up Zettai Kareshi , its with the main actor of Hammer Session ( the teacher), seems to be a funny lovely drama.

also I did watch Kaseifu no Mita that some anon recommended a few months ago on /jp/
was quite interesting , I did like it even if it wasn't a comedy drama

I liked zettai kareshi a lot. It has a lot of comedy but it's mostly romance. You'd probably like Hana Yori Dango as well if you're into romance.

I'm not even kidding you.
It failed to invoke any emotion in me whatsoever. The characters were bland and uninteresting.
At first I thought, hey, maybe this was Mirror Moon's fault.
I read the Japanese version, and it was just as, if not even more boring than the translated version. How do people actually enjoy Tsukihime? I'm seriously confused how any sentient human being could have thought Tsukihime was good.

On a side note, is FSN any better? It looks way more polished, but is that all it has going for it?

A "visual novel" (a stupid phrase, obviously coined by people with a tenuous grasp of English) is a type of video game that resembles what it would look like if someone started making a cartoon, but decided it would be easier if they skipped most of the animation and only had the voice actors say the important parts. For some reason the vast majority of them are pornographic. Even though these games aren't very popular in the West, the "press X to continue" gameplay should be very familiar to anyone who has picked up a recent Final Fantasy title.
