Is anyone else sick and tired of some of the entries on the wiki? It was Remilia's associates that dreamt up the Scarlet Incident, not her. She just told Patchouli to get rid of sun.

And she did.

Remilia is always singled out as the girl with the 'most evil intentions of all time' when in reality it was her buddies who were the sick fucks and she just wanted to be granted a simple wish.

Disregarding the fact that it happened during summer, a season when days last longer.

Several years ago I tried devoting myself to pursuing truth and justice and keeping wiki articles as clean and coherent and truthful as possible. Unfortunately I was unable to stop the autism of a few that would reinsert their opinions that they clearly stated as facts. Again and again I would delete and/or correct them and list the reasons for the correction but they would always just re-add it. After a while I couldn't take it anymore. Fuck wikis.

The Wiki entrys are nothing compared to the character pages on TvTropes. They've been cleaned up somewhat by now, but a year ago those pages were full with every meme related to every character and other fanon shit.

I never cared about that crap, I'm going to the wiki solely for the translations anyway. Well, that and the original source texts, the more I can read of them the more I realize the translations aren't exactly perfect either.

But yeah, it does seem look like it's getting worse recently. Probably a sign of the site being invaded by the TVTropes "if I manage to put my shit in there it'll magically make it true" crowd.

Discussion about canon on /jp/ are always the best.
Sure you can use the wiki to back up your arguments, but then you got to make sure that there is a definite source for what has been written there.

Some time ago someone here tried to argue with me that you can kill Moukou by removing her liver when the wiki clearly said that this is not the case.

Even though I'm not sure where the wiki got this information from I am fairly sure that I was still right.

Because that person needs to get their facts straight. It was not Gensokyo, but the vicinity of SDM, not eternal darkness, but a colorful fog, and not to stop plants from growing, but to allow Remi to leave the mansion safely.

Recall how Reimu's only real worry was not any ill effect on Gensokyo itself, but rather that the wind will carry the fog over the barrier to the outside world.
