Post your IP if you are hosting followed by world location (with continent and area is ok, I.E Western europe) and your own "tier" if you feel like to.

About the game:
(shamelessly copied from the wiki)
Touhou Hisoutensoku is the third fighting game in the Touhou Project and like its predecessors, Immaterial and Missing Power and Scarlet Weather Rhapsody, Touhou Hisoutensoku is a collaboration between ZUN and Twilight Frontier. Due to that collaboration, its art was drawn by Alphes and the music was composed by U2 Akiyama, both from Twilight Frontier.

Download link:

Hisoutensoku + 1.10 patch + english patch:
http://thepiratebay.se/torrent/6424899/Touhou_Hisoutensoku_12.3___1.10___English_Patch

For playing online it's recommended to have the latest version, 1.10a which you can find the patches for here:

http://hisouten.koumakan.jp/

SWR + English patch:
http://thepiratebay.se/torrent/6512402/Touhou_10.5_Scarlet_Weather_Rhapsody___ENG

Optionally there is also a Voice mod found here:
http://en.touhouwiki.net/wiki/Voice_Mod_for_SWR_and_Hisoutensoku

Before playing online please close any process that uses bandwith to avoid lag, also try to play with people close to your area if possible.

Isn't it illegal to link to games that are copyrighted?

>> No.8789360

>>8789351
It's a link to a website which contains a small bit of meta data through which the files could (conceivably) be retrieved from other people.
The actual magnet link is only a few hundred characters, and OP's URLs only a few dozen. You can't store a game in that little information, silly~

I'm not going to say distance is not relevant at all, but I could play with USA people just fine (and I mean fine, not only "tolerable"), and we're at least 8000km away.
I guess I just want to say that... you should try even if you're far away from each other.

GGs Decarabia. You remind me a bit of myself in the sense that you are always trying to get damage in, or turn things in your favor. Someone wise once told me that I need to realize when I'm on the defensive and when I'm on the offense (it may sound simple but it's really important). You need to wait out a lot of things. Don't air tech into attacks, and don't try to mash out of strings.

And like you said with delay, you were winning a lot of my traps and mashing out my strings only because of delay. I know it seem like free damage but I got a lot of damage off you by waiting your attacks out. Thanks for training my Komachi though.

You really shouldn't play so passive, when you get the opponent to the ground, you are at an advantage, press it, don't triple backdash into the other corner.
Though I can't say it's all passive as you seem to hammer the hell out of the melee button when you are at a disadvantage, I'm not sure if you are praying for the gods of lag to side with you or are you just hoping your opponent sucks enough to drop things I do not know, but overall, 1 success in 10 is not exactly a good ratio to keep doing it

GGs Ganon. I shouldn't play TOO much tonight. I have some work to do.

Your fun to watch play, but you should really stop air teching, and if you are going to do that, at least chicken block with the intent to BE. You are not at advantage in the air with china (not to mention with any character if you've just been knocked out the air), like, at all. Her j.2a doesn't even have a hit box in front of her, and although j5a is good, it's not nearly as good as any other characters attacks. Don't approach in the air without bullet cover to make sure you're attacking first. That is probably your greatest downfall, relying on China's air game too much. You REALLY don't have air superiority in this game (Although you have some killer air traps/ air GC strings).

Also, I know you love it, but get rid of spirit light step imo. It has it's usages, but China's 214 makes or breaks her. It's best to have in a secondary deck (its unsafe on block and doesn't even connect from dial until level 3).

You should be blocking a lot more. Most of the damage I was getting was from you not blocking on wakeup/after an airtech. Your offense also needs work. I'm not sure what that means. In any case, I'll be blunt: you'll need to learn the very basics of at least one character. Throwing out spells whenever you get them not only is a waste, but is very dangerous since many spells have a long recovery time during which I'm free to beat you up. Same applies to special moves that are unsafe on block. Another thing would be blocking on wakeup, it seems to be very common on low levels that people either try to mash or fly out every time when getting up from the ground. It simply won't work as long as I don't make a blatant mistake in my timings. Reversal moves are exceptions to this, but if the opponent predicts it you're going to get beaten again.

So to sum it up: you need at least some composition in your play instead of just throwing out moves at random.

Thanks for the games, personwhosenameIforgottocommittomemory. Have you decided on any particular characters to try to practice? Haha, well, it's really all she can do against good corner pressure; load up on reversals. Only real alternatives involves the enemy fucking up or you shattering one of your orbs, and Alice desperately needs all the spirit she can muster, otherwise she's left with her frustratingly inadequate melee

I really have no idea how to get out of your Cirno corner pressure once you're in. All I can really do is hope for a reversal card or for you to make a blatantly wrong move

Go to your router configuration interface, look for something similar to the picture, and set it up like that. The port number doesn't matter, of course. Put something above 2000 to be "sure" it doesn't conflict with other services.

I guess I didn't really specify that I think these cheap trash routers have a huge update interval.
If I set up a rule (port forwarding, for example), and then do a soft reset, when it comes back on the rule has disappeared.
If I wait some time it stays, and I guess it's the same interval that it takes for a rule to take effect. Of course I don't know how much time that is. Two minutes, one hour...

Are you typing your own IP instead of the router's IP there? When you run cmd and type ipconfig, the router's IP is "default gateway".

>>8797988
Make certain that you've forwarded the port to the right IP address. Also, if you haven't set a static IP for your computer your router might give you a different one sometimes which will break all your forwards.
Also, you could try what >>8797994

Thank you for playing against me, Taco. You are the most fun opponent I have played thus far. I think we were pretty close in skill, you being a little bit better, though I'm happy a lot of our games were close. If you learn to block my gimmick-y moves that I do when I don't know what else to do, I won't stand a chance.

Sorry for the delayed response to this. I have thought about it, but I simply don't think it's worth it. Alice's corner pressure is very easy to escape as she has practically no frame-tight block strings. Her corner pressure is mindgames, pure and simple. Will he continue his dial A combo? Will he restart it? Will he jump 2C and use Thousand Spears to keep me there and give himself better spacing? And so forth. Little Legion is nice, but it's hard for me to agree with wasting one or two reversals just to minorly extend a block string

I am putting together a deck with more spellcards, among them Little Legion and Lemming Parade, though. However, I haven't actually gotten the balls to start testing it against real players yet

You do realize that thinking while playing fighting games is not a crime, you don't have to keep repeating the same patterns over and over again. Actually, if you didn't know before, Little Legion into Seeker dolls is a VERY common alice GC setup, and it does significant damage for a 4-way 'force damage' too. Usually required against good players because it's not easy to get high damage off neutral, more or less blockstrings.

And on top that, your pressure is kinda weak imo regardless mostly because you don't mix up 6A and 236B default as much, more or less set up strong disrespect baits. However, once you can get at that point into forcing the opponent to BE a lot, thats when you can start abusing blockstrings in your combos. I'm sure you saw me do it a bit with my cirno to 3 card leadups, but yeah. Seeker dolls take a LOT or orbs on block and is VERY efficient for GC setups. Especially when you can force the opponent to try to BE the next hit but messing up the timing through C doll + spellflash instead.
