I wasn't supposed to find the ero scenes arousing was I

>> No.8780237

Of course you were.
If you weren't they would have shown them from an objective 3rd person viewpoint.

>> No.8780241

I would venture to suggest that you were supposed to.

Bonus points for it getting you to fap to the first ero scene before you find out about Saya's true form

I only was able to guess it metafictionally, through trope familiarization.

There's always the chance that a trope can subvert itself, though, and that mere possibility is what causes dramatic tension. If you re-read Saya again, you can find that there's nothing to explicitly make you conclude so, although it is very much hinted.

I felt bad about fapping to the scene where they raped that other girl.

>> No.8780394

>>8780384

I would have found it sexy without the slightest bit of remorse, but all I could think about was that one of the girls was a slimy eldritch abomination and the other was a living corpse that was rotting away by the second.

>> No.8780412

>>8780394

But, you don't really know if that's true of real life either.

Also, I suspect that finding it arousing is completely natural, as she had already been turned into a mental slave at that point, unable to respond except through instinct. If anything, one would be enraged at that state of being being forced upon her, but not at the being itself, for it is but a pet.

>Fuminori Sakisaka has a traffic accident which kills his parents and leaves him heavily injured. When he has a brain surgery to save his life, his perception of the world changes: everything he sees becomes blood and guts, people's looks and voices seem like monsters, and food that normally appeals to him tastes disgusting.

>As he contemplates suicide in the hospital, Fuminori meets a beautiful girl among the flesh-covered walls. She introduces herself as Saya, and is apparently looking for her father. Fuminori does not want to be separated from Saya, and asks her to live with him. She agrees.

Wat?

Also, initially I thought that perhaps Saya was some mad scientist who wanted to be seen as a little girl and thus performed brain surgery on someone so that they would find everything disgusting and them endearing, but not necessarily not human

You are all autistic fucks.

Are you retarded? it's obvious from the get go that if everything normal turned gross after the accident, then everything that would look normal to fuminori like saya or his room is actually really gross in reality...

>> No.8780617

Inverse fallacy. p implies q does not mean ~p implies ~q.

>> No.8780657

No shit, Sherlock. Anon is not saying that "it was a perfectly logical conclusion". He's saying that you could see it from miles away.
A guy shouting "I'll kill you all, motherfuckers" while swinging a knife around does not necessarily mean there's a guy in the room who wants to kill all the motherfuckers, but I'd get the fuck out of that room nonetheless.

>> No.8780732

>>8780657

I was under the impression that everything turned to innard shit for Fuminori. There was no basis for me to believe that there would be an exception to that rule. A blind person will probably not see anything, they won't see "invisible", or shadowed objects. Someone with full color blindness cannot perceive those colors in the spectrum, I won't jump to the conclusion that they won't see something in color because its in monochrome.

There is no logical necessity which prevents it from being so, but it still is highly counterintuitive.

>> No.8780755

>>8780732

Correction: that they WILL see something in color

>> No.8780769

That's common sense, yes. But popular media does on run on common sense, it runs on tropes.
I'm not going to spit out the "huehue first VN for ya? XD" shit, but... well, after one or two hundred stories you can't not see some things, even if they are absolutely "counterintuitive".

>> No.8780787

>>8780769

I'm familiar with tropes, saw the possibility, but also saw other possibilities as well, because tropes always entail their subversions/deconstructions.

I can only assume those that latched onto that outcome outright may have read about the fact beforehand, and so it colored their vision of it in that way.
