I use my laptop on my bed.

I have an irrational fear of chairs. Someday, they may collapse, and if not kill me, then render me incapacitated from the neck down so I am unable to kill myself.

This worries me too. I've fell backwards out of my chair once or twice but managed to survive. People think this sort of thing is funny but if I had hit my head, I could have seriously and permanently injured myself. Not that I doubt the miracles of the human body, but I could snap my neck (or severely fuck it up) so easily.

I actually fear it might explode. Well, I had forgotten about it actually, thanks for the reminder.

Anyways, I have been using one similar to the one in the picture for... three years, I think, eight to twelve hours per day. The erm... "sheath", for lack of a better word, is totally destroyed, due to my ass being on top of it for so long, but with a cushion you can't even notice it. It's still as comfortable as the day I bought it. It costed around $150, I think. Maybe $100?
