Has any /jp/er ever been asked out by a cute, intelligent woman who knows you are painfully shy?

This just happened to me out of the blue today and I'm quite flustered /jp/. What do I do?

Yes, but she was also batshit insane and proceeded to stalk me after I denied her. After I blocked her on Facebook, she came into my work and burst into tears and started screaming. She also talked about killing herself after I told her ``just fuck off already". I thought it'd be nice because stalking looks good in VNs and she did want to have sex with me (she asked me to come to her car and fuck her when we were on good terms ... i denied it) but it became a big headache

That's how you know a crazy girl. She screams and cries all the time.

I've been goaded into asking them out by repetitive suggestion and constant prodding, but no, not in the way I can imagine you experienced. how incredibly beta of you OP, but I respect your choices as I guess you share the same opinions of most jaypee

Please outgrow this concept, society. I am a very open minded person who wants James Randi to die, but people literally believe there is one single person out of the billions in the world that they're supposed to be with because of destiny or whatever, and it makes me very sad.

Either all these people are getting impossibly lucky or they're "settling", both of which are SHIT.

Had a pretty similar situation happen recently. Girl I had known for 2 years approaches me wanting a relationship, felt great. 5 months later, she pretty much got bored with me and ended it.

The worst part of it is that she told me "I did nothing wrong", which is either bullshit or a painful indicator of how she really didn't appreciate me.

Aw, if you're gonna be like that...

Well, the first time was this girl I barely knew, and she was kinda eh. It was actually relayed to me by a friend of hers, and even though I tried to say no somehow she misinterpreted and thought I said "sure". Compounded with the fact that apparently she had a reputation in the school for being a little loose, it was rather incredibly awkward for the next few days.

Second time was with this really short (like, 4 foot something short) black girl who I didn't know at all. I kept saying I wasn't really interested but she kept asking for my phone number and whatnot. I guess she got the idea after a few days.

Third time (and, I suppose, the only one which actually qualifies as a cute, intelligent girl) I actually didn't realize at the time, since she just said she wanted to go running with me. We kept doing stuff, but it was super duper awkward since we never exactly made anything official and I am absolutely incompetent at knowing what to do in pretty much any situation like that. It lasted for a while but we didn't do very much over the course of it.
Oh well.

Why? Well just try and you'll see, maybe you'll be lucky (though I don't think so if we're talking about < 20y ~ 25y girls, they usually just get bored with "shy men", trust me)

Because it's the kind of thing Internet users (in general) care about. There are certain things you could post on any sort of board, and no matter how off-topic they are people will discuss and debate and flame and cry. For example abortion is something a lot of people feel strongly about. I could make an abortion thread on /jp/, and provided I choose my words carefully (and the janitor doesn't delete it), it would easily get at least 50 replies.
This isn't /jp/ or even OP's fault, but "geeky" human beings needing to blog or have the last word, combined with everyone's inability to ignore trolls and things they know they're supposed to ignore.

the problem is that all you nerds see 3D women as something comparable to 2D. They're not, you know they're not.

But if you're not a dumbass you know they aren't the monsters some /jp/ posters make them to be. If you're interested in anything to do with her, just think of her as a friend that can help you make feel good without you feeling gay. There's no need to be super serious about women, specially on your age. They're imperfect and you'll have imperfect relationships, just enjoy what you can if you even want it. Just take things easier, anon. Girls can be nice friends, but also they'll never be perfect or give you a perfect relationship like you usually idealize.
