One day you eventually start to realize that you aren't really happy with the way things are. You want people to tell you stuff like how cute you are instead of being ridiculed for gross hobbies. In fact you're actually a pretty needy and emotionally fragile person after you peel away that protective layer of indifference. The only problem is that you're still a socially inept loser with weird hobbies, and too shy to talk to normal people. What do you do /jp/?

Its true, even my brother finds me weird. I don't get it what he likes though, he spent his entire spring break in front of the tv watching "shake it up". Despite being socially anxious and I hate them, I pretend to be interested in conversations, try to strike up some small chat myself by picking the most common possible mundane topic we could talk about, just to not be singled out as a loner, etc, etc. Truth is, I was much more content sitting in front of my computer, alone, probably playing the FotM MMOs or what other such activities with /jp/.

I can't imagine being different from now. It was not a choice to be this way. Even if I dropped my "gross hobbies", I'd still be socially inept. I'm naturally a quiet and extremely nervous and clutzy person, which are not cute traits for men.

My "gross hobbies" are the only things that give me any real happiness, and the idea that I could become normal by just changing my hobbies is ridiculous.
