Getting a waifu is like buying a new car, or a new pair of pants. You'll likely have to test drive a few models to really know what you're looking for, and in the end you shouldn't settle for anything less than a perfect fit.

My advice to you is this: next time you see a cute girl in your anime/VN/etc, make her your waifu! Always remember that your waifu is incapable of feeling abandonment as she is not actually "real"; in this way, you don't have to worry about things heading south, since you can always upgrade to a different waifu.

Good luck and happy hunting, Bro!! I'll be rooting for you, Aniki!! ^__^

;_; This isn't how getting a waifu is like at all.

Finding a waifu is like falling in love because it is falling in love. You one day see a character that you get a crush on. After infatuation develops into love after a period of several months, a minimum of six months, she becomes your fiance, and at a date you find appropriate, she becomes your wife. It's not like watching anime and jerking off to one character a few times at all.

I jerk off to Tokiko and pretend I'm raping her.
Before you say you have "your" Tokiko, that's the one I jack off to. She's such a filthy slut.

Go post this on /a/ instead if you want people's asses leaking.

You must have very low standards.

It's more like buying a pet and taking pictures of it, then showing them off to whoever cares on your blog or your page on a social networking site.
