Chapter 2 is the longest chapter by far. If I had to take a guess it would be around 50% of the game depending on your ending.

Finally got to start this last night. I'm impressed. I like how they finally have conversations occur outside of the talking heads VN style now, even if it's not much. Combat's fun too.

I am playing the first one and IT PAINS ME. I have heard almost unanimously that the second one was greatly improved, though.

I bought the 3 DLC items and I still don't even know if I have the willpower to finish this game once. The combat and dialogue are just so bad. Not even customizing my moeblob army is enough. I'd rather post on /jp/.

..but maybe I should finish it, y'know, so I can play the new sequel....

Is Mk2 any good? i could never get into the first one duo to the shitty battles and dungeons. Mk2 looks much better so im kinda thinking about getting it.

Vastly improved over the first. Set monster spawns in the dungeons, you are able to move during combat, you have characters that can heal other characters as long as you the AP/SP, and not that much of a grind outside of certain endings.
