Why don't you just get a job, /jp/? Even if it's minimum wage, you can save up enough and move out.

Alternatively, why not go to college? You can take out loans and live by yourself or save some money and keep living with your parents while studying. When you get your degree, provided it's not useless, you can get a good job and live on your own.

And even if you don't want to do that, it's not as if minimum wage is bad. What do you honestly do that requires more than a room and an internet connection, /jp/?

The average /jp/er would last about 3 days in basic before having some kind of mental aspie breakdown or just plain getting kicked the fuck out/injuring themselves.

I'm in the Army, and you actually have to work quite hard at times, and any rank above PFC requires some kind of functional leadership skills, which disqualifies pretty much all of /jp/.

Also the internet, lifeblood of /jp/, is not provided free. The gym is though, which makes it great for /fit/izens.

Navy and AF are the most /jp/ish branches, though the military in general is not for the shy/autistic/parasitic types. I briefly considered the AF because that's what my grandfather wanted (he was a retired AF Colonel) but I decided it was too tame/desk jobby for my tastes. The AF recruiter was also never there and didn't return my calls (I had a 99 ASVAB but this was when the AF was completely flooded with applicants.)

I was a NEET before the Army, but I also had a degree going in so I got automatic promotion to E-4 (the best pay you can get off the bat as enlisted.) My section is me, a SFC and like a dozen privates. The SFC is in an office most of the day. For the most part, I run this bitch. When I go home, any resemblance I have to a typical /jp/er is strictly by choice only. You cannot expect to lead men in a disciplined environment, possibly in combat, and be an aspie fuck. It just won't happen (unless something seriously breaks somewhere in the system.)

I'm looking for one, OP. I actually might have one very soon, at least I'm hoping.

It's not a problem for me to interact with other people on a professional level, it's when things get personal that I can't function. A job is no trouble for me. I'm planning to work and save enough to be able to live alone in relative comfort.

As shitty and boring as being a neet can sometimes be the working world is much worse.

The feeling of collapsing on your bed just to wake up and have to be at work in 4 hours is a terrible feeling, especially when your coworkers constantly talk shit about you and there is nothing you can do because your boss joins in. Money only makes you feel so much better.

Having a job has its perks

You can pay people do to things for you like translate doujins.

But working 70 hours per week in between two jobs is really shitty, especially when your money is going towards the mortgage payment on your parents house that was taken out in order for them to support my asshole half-sibling who ended up being giant fuck-up detriments to society and themseleves.

It depends on your job. I do residential security, easy but if you've got anxiety then it might be an issue. My coworkers keep their distance and if we talk then it's all bullshit. It's a boring job with lots of sitting and some patrolling, but I just pass the time browsing /jp/ from my phone. Pay is shit but it motivates me to get up in the morning.

I won't be working long anyway, my dad has $7 million in property in the Caribbean and I'm his only son. Apparently he wants me to get "experience", but this is a waste of time.

It's funny because we're poor as hell here in the US. There's a lot of legal and construction work to be done before it's of any use to us. That motivates me as well but right now I have no choice but to work.

I make 9.36/hr. and the only reason I got it is because my dad worked there.
