Why haven't you created a Tulpa yet, /jp/?

When you practice meditation, I recommend listening to white noise. If you can, go for a walk outside, and just walk around. If you prefer to stay inside, it's easier to stay awake sitting down.

I heard tulpas will ultimately try to kill you or leave if it can't take you over. Think I'll stick to egregores, thanks.

I can't even write fiction because I don't don't have the requisite self-confidence to "create life" for my fictional characters. A new consciousness is probably beyond me.

I'm not much into that tulpas thing, but I can tell tulpas aren't the same type of phenomenon that poltergeists are.

Poltergeist is a total paranormal phenomenon, spiritual things affecting material things, and tulpas is more psicologial, only you can see, hear, and/or feel them, and is a thing happening inside your head after all.

About tulpas being able of become against you, I think is very likely, they comes from the subconscious or they feed from it, and subconscious tends to be traitor.

I don't know how talking with a Tulpa's supposed to be like, yet. What do we talk about? How do I `make' it talk? Aside from the 3 or 4 /x/ guides I've seen on them, I haven't been able to find any decent stuff online about them.

there is an IRC chat filled with people who supposedly have them who are helpful to newcomers. I talked to them once, they gave me some tips. Its a psychological thing. Nothing supernatural about it. You partition a part of brain and program it to become its own consciousness. It is its own being: treat it like a slave and it might indeed form negative repercussions.

No. Unless you want a Succubus that will rape you until you hardly have enough enegry left to get a boner.

Can this really happen? This is my fetish.

Your God is nothing but a tool to keep people caged and obedient like sheep. Didn't they teach you that God created man in his image? This means we can create life and ourselves as well as the environment we live in. But what do I know? Go condemn yourself for getting lost in a fictional novel for all I care.

Nice.

Posting as a college student with too much free time, an interest in psychedelia, and previous family history of schizophrenia, I have been at this for two days now (since the last fucking thread) adding 30 min of visualization to the 10min meditation sessions I usually do. I've also switched my sleep schedule to a polyphasic 3-nap type (for DILD), and continue to listen to white noise as I nap. Additionally, started supplementing melatonin, 5-htp, piracetam, and have transitioned my protein intake to be heavier in tryptamines in general.

So far, I've been able to envision a blurry form in limited interaction with a rather detailed environment featuring a statue of amida buddha. The meditation/visualization comes easily, although the lucid dreaming has become dysphoric, centering on themes of rape, torture, and death (go watch Hellraiser 1 and 2 for an vague analogue)
