Making fun of people in pain is an asshole thing to do, and you should stop doing it... therefore, informing people who enjoy ridiculing people in pain of how much pain and anguish they are inflicting upon you will make them stop.

Everyone should have an personal, private environment in which they are free to express themselves creatively without fear of ridicule or spite... and a public internet forum which is searchable by every human being on the planet will provide precisely such a haven.

I know several people with autism and those people could easily not be by changing a few things they do on a day to day basis

Most people say they have aspergers to excuse their behavior.

In reality 90% of people online who claim to have aspergers are either

1) Eccentric
2) Have schizoid personality disorder
3) Have social anxiety
4) Are simply losers looking for an excuse

Aspergers and autism are real disorders that effect real people but I'm automatically strick with skepticism whenever someone claims to have it. It doesn't help that doctors often misdiagnose people who have schizoid PD with it.
