Why is this site so popular?

This site is more Ads,Hirano/Idol tabloids and porn than it is anime or video game news.

Lots of articles are stolen and artifact himself says he doesn't watch anime anymore.

So why do people flok to him when they could go to DannyChoo (who is an asshole but he actually cares about the stuff he says)

I am pretty indifferent to DannyChoo though. Hate is a strong word and I can't really think of much to hate him, though I can still say that I find the vast majority of the stuff he writes about to be largely uninteresting, making me wonder why I should ever bother, and without really coming up with a good answer to that question. That, and I sometimes get the impression that he is full of himself and perhaps possibly sometimes even gets the impression that his opinions are special simply due to him having the status of being himself.
