Ever since the announcement of Technika on the Vita, I've been questioning myself on whether I should not have bought my 3DS. But it's the only game I'm interested in. Well, there's that announcement of a Monster Hunter for it, but there's not much details of it so far so I'm not pretty hyped about it.

As a huge fan of the DJMAX series, I'd really kill for a Vita on the Technika release date, but I suppose I can wait until the price of the handheld is lowered.

You have to take in consideration that 3rd parties did not know that the Wii would be so successful. Considering the sales of the PS2 it's only natural they showed lots of support for the PS3.

The situation here is different. The DS was extremely popular, more so than the PSP. The 3DS continues to be far more popular than the Vita. Software is selling best on 3DS. Why on Earth would 3rd parties support Vita more than 3DS? That would make no sense.

I'm not sure I understand the relevance in this? The 3DS sold 94k units last week. Vita sold 12k. The 3DS is outselling the Vita almost 9 to 1 right NOW. When the PSP launched, there were numerous weeks where the PSP was outselling the DS. Face it, the Vita is dying.

People said the 3DS was dying when it first came out, too. PSV is selling poorly in Japan because it doesn't have many games that appeal to the Japanese yet. The 3DS was the same way until Mario, Zelda and Monster Hunter started coming out. Declaring a console that has been out two months dead is pretty stupid.

There is also the difference that you know Nintendo is going to bring out the games. You know we are going to get the Marios, the Zeldas, etc. Vita honestly has a pretty bleak horizon the next year game wise.
