You're going to need clearer and more recent staff posts to back your statement.

Translated VN go in both /jp/ and /vg/, whichever goes best. /vg/ is only for the General threads that plagued /v/ and not any and all threads in all boards that could go there. The definition of a General thread was made clear during the split in /v/, basically a daily thread that was kept alive with little content but still had a fanbase around it. They were put in /vg/ because /v/ was so fast that it required a lot of tripfag circlejerking and contentless imagedumping just to keep them alive, fill them in an hour, and then make a new one.

This thread is not a Video Game General thread by moot's definition and therefore doesn't belong in /vg/. Now give it a rest and hide it if you don't like it. Call this an issue when you have /v/ threads and their userbase here, but until then accept that /jp/ allows for a high diversity of topics, it's just a matter of them being received.

Look, even visual novels qualify as video games when you get down to it. What amount of gameplay required to define it as a game with VN elements or the other way is an arbitrary border that can't be defined.

It's a goddamn VN with some RPG elements) The board is not worse for having a single thread left for this series or any other. They have a place here and to push them off board just because of your personal reading of the rules is sincerely moronic.

Not really. The music is okay, but nothing special. The only song I really liked was the opening song.

What I really liked about mk2 is that you can't get locked out from routes until very far into the game. Like, you can still fulfill all conditions for the true route just before killing the boss for the normal routes. You can also get all endings in one playthrough. True end adds two chapters to the game, so you should get that one last.

When I saw the Hyperdimension Neptunia Mark II trailer I thought: this is seriously the most otaku thing I've ever seen. But deep down, I want to play it. I really, really want to. My inner raging otaku wants this.

However, I don't have a PStriple, and I'm not buying one in at least one year because my plans for the future translate into me not knowing in what continent I'll be living in the next 2 years.

Treasure can be nice since a lot of synth-only expensive items pop up all the time, like stat boosters, rez, AOE heals, twig, ejects. So if you don't like synthing or wasting gold it might be helpful.

You don't "need" Gust, but if you mess up like me and forget to get Neptune's special attacks before entering the route, you will be shit out of luck.

Also, unless you use only CPUs (which I think everyone does), Gust is at least the best Human, and can dish out great damage and has an amazing Alt, especially with break damage.

What do you mean by Neptune's special attacks? Do you mean Violet Schwestern, or does Neptune learn more skills beyond BFF, Delta Force, and 32-Bit Mega Blade?

Because my Neptune's level 74, and that's all she's got apart from the aforementioned Violet Schwestern. As a result, I'm kind of let down by the lack of utility/variety in the skill sets of the older CPUs.

If I'm missing out, reveal your secrets. I thought I was doing a pretty thorough job of viewing any and all events. Already finished the True End route and then some.

What is everyone's team set up like?
I currently use Nepgear, Neptune, Noire, Rom supported by Gust, IF, Uni, and Blanc.

It gets the job done, but I doubt it is the best setup.

You can get most of the endings from one Ch.5 save, though NG+ is nice.

I recommend doing the Ruler or "Bad" ending first, makes the rest of the game better IMO. If you really like the characters like I did, make sure to have some tissues ready.

I'm in a bit of a bind. I'm trying to recruit Noire, but all of my Lastation quests that award Lastation shares only deduct from Arfoire, and I've completely zeroed out Arfoire in the city. Really shitty, because I'm 5% away from 50% shares in the city.

Am I fucked? Or can I use quests from satellite cities?

I notice that Rom will sometimes follow up her Northern Cross ult with a Southern Cross that does a ton of hits and damage. I can't seem to figure out what triggers the second attack though. It's not SP...

Also, when do you unlock all the double/triple techs? Are they though level or lily rank/events?

No to both. I leave dungeons when I run out of forbidden twigs and Nepgear dies occasionally against the end creatures/bosses, but no shares are lost.

I have noticed that the Glacial Wolf quest for Lowee won't give the shares reward randomly.
