Today I lost all my hope for /jp/.
Usually when I feel hopeless I make a big heartfelt thread and almost cry.
Today is different.
Today I have completely lost all my hope.
I am not going to make a huge post or anything. This is enough. I don't have the motivation anymore to try.
/jp/ is still useful for some things but it will never the same as it was in the past.

I guess this is everything...
I can't run away from the truth anymore...
I have finally realized the good old days aren't coming back... They are not...

Why do kids in my Jap cartoons not smoke or drink? I know there are legal issues and shit, but it was fine to show this sort of thing in 80s/90s anime. Hell you can show teenagers beating the shit out of each other and molesting kids, but to suggest a 14-year-old might have a cigarette or a 16-year-old might drink some beer is horribly wrong? Shit just leads to awkward scenes too, like "u got drunk from teh smell of beer xD" or that horrible scene in Haganai where he drank grape juice out of a wine bottle. Shit's like a PSA against underage drinking.
