80% of my shinbone is a titanium rod and my knee is artificial. I can only jog for very short distances before pain kicks in, but If I put my mind to it I can go longer.

Some failing valves in my heart that let blood flow backwards. It's not bad enough to warrant surgery unless I wanted to play sports or something. I'm well enough to ride my bike so that's enough for me.
I had kidney problems as a kid but I grew up and my kidneys got as strong as anyone else's.
Degenerative eye disease that'll have me legally blind at about age 50. I won't go completely blind but i'll lose my ability to drive. I'll have to move into the city or something so I can get around.
I have a dent in my leg that I haven't yet seen a doctor about, but it's been there for about 6 years so I doubt it's anything bad.
I can hardly hold a conversation longer than a minute, but I guess that's more of a character flaw.

Not sure if anything is cute. I guess going blind could be, blind people are usually pretty charming~

Wow, /jp/ is blind?

I sort of feel left out here because I've got 20/10 vision - but I'm half deaf from some idiocy with fireworks a few years ago. If anything it's worse in my opinion, because glasses can virtually correct vision, but HAs do a half job with hearing.

You'd think with vision being the greater sense that an impairment there would be worse, but a hearing problem is more problematic in everyday life I think.

Hmm, I've heard that with one-sided deafness one of the biggest problems is working out where a noise is coming from. Not unsurprising when you think about it.

I should clarify that what I mean by 'half deaf' is a ~50-55 dB loss in both ears, not one deaf and one fine.

If I'm not wearing the hearing aids it's like having earplugs and earmuffs on at the same time, but you can't hear your own voice as well as if you did that.

Having said that, when there's not too much background noise people can't tell I've got a problem. Hearing aids are getting better but they're still not great in a loud restaurant or lecture theater, etc.
