Because it's not moeshit or pairingshit, or even H-doujins, you know, things that attract fans and learn the artist's multiple nicknames by heart and shit themselves in excitement in the comments section.

Imizu draws nicely but I don't like his stories, nor the way he portrays characters like Reisen.

I like a character because of their traits, I find it nice how artists somehow tweak that somewhat in order to fit into their made-up scenarios.

However, those who prefer seeing such character in such an overwhelmingly opposite way just so that such character fits the cliche role of a ''badass'' because of the expected positive qualities that redeem the original character's vulnerabilities should not call themselves fans, after all, they want their own radical interpretation, not one that at least resembles a personality or actions that the character originally did.

I wish I was there for that. this is exactly how i wish touhou partys are like in gensokyo. a huge fucking party of drunken touhous abusing and showing off their power to and at each other, sex, farting, and all around delicious debauchery. I wish i was a part of that ;_;
