I had a pretty grandiose idea for a vn/game. It's not exactly original as hell, but I think it has potential to be interesting. I'm still working out the general plot since it can go in so many directions, but the general idea goes like this:

The main character meets a group of cosplayers dressed with armor and weapons, but weren't cosplayers. They're a small group that travels from world to world through the universe to slay monsters and shit. Well the main character somehow gets tied up with them and is forced to adapt or die.

Now the details are still vague because I'm still trying to figure things out. Like what the motive of the group is, who they are, where they come from etc. Also why the mc approaches them, how he gets caught up in their business, why they allow him to stick around instead of getting rid of him and what he wants in the end (to go home or continue adventuring or something else).

But yeah that's the gist of it. It's basically another adventure story. And it's probably not sounding too interesting but I can't let go of it. Progress is slow, though. I kind of wish I had a schedule to keep for developing this thing.

I want to make a 2d sidescroller about sinbags and their childish adventures.
I think my sinbags are probably different than most peoples. I consider them an existence similar to fairies and don't buy into that rapist jazz. They are the essence of a boys heart and passion.
Objectives would be displayed in their dossier, a collection of crayon drawings and vague descriptions about a touhou. For instance, Kazami Yuuka. Cool umbrella. Likes flowers. Smiles a lot. Nice person. Mission: Let's go give flowers to kazami yuuka!
Then you would navigate the level, avoiding the hazards and enemies in the garden of the sun, throw a lot of flowers at yuukas house and run away.
The stock system in this game is a bit different. Each sinbag life is an unique person and when they die they're replaced by a distinctly similar sinbag. You recruit more lives by passion (initial stock is based on how many sinbag agree with your objective, various activities along the way give you a chance to convince more to join). I'd like the different sinbags to have various properties but I'm not sure how to implement that well.
I've got a lot of scenarios written down for different touhous. My favorite ones either "steal yukaris panties" or "beat reimu in a danmaku fight".
Also there's no melee attack because you shouldn't hurt little girls

- Make a doujin album with remixes of music from fan translated VNs.
- Finally finish the Vanguard Princess Fan Image album (fan made original theme songs for all the characters) and then send it to the creator.
- Make an album with metal/rock vocal covers of AT hymmnos songs.

As for video game ideas I'll just say they're all horror themed with lolis as main characters and have multiple routes like in Tactics Ogre.

My dream project is questionably coherent and requires a bunch of animation somewhere around Muv-Luv or better tier or be a comic that takes like two decades to finish to be tacticool enough. It's encroaching on HOW DOES I GET JAYPAN TO MAKE MY ANIMAYS the more I think about it.

That aside the more I watched the first few episodes of Mouretsu Pirates and the more I thought "man these stationary people describing all the action in exposition and barely needing to do anything to animate things moving realistically in zero-g sure would work as a VN." It's made me want to do what I'll describe as a cross of Sora no Woto, Macross, and Muv-Luv Unlimited plus the similar parts of Alternative with (ironically) less aliens and accompanying methods of BS'ing the setting.

It'd be like a treatise on mecha I swear. While presumably being maximum /m/ trollbait because girls are icky.

A strange idea I've had, and for which have actually gotten some things written, is a short VN.

The ghosts of World War 1 warships are returning. Those of the British Grand Fleet and German Hochseeflotte want a Battle of Jutland rematch.

Routes would be Battlecruiser SMS Derfflinger and HMS Queen Mary (The one that blew the fuck up). Also, IJN Kirishima would offer post-mortem advice.

It takes place a long time ago, in Heian period Japan. Youkais and shit running around everywhere. Everything's hardcore and badass. Main protagonist is a human witch with no place to call home, so she wanders around and gets caught up in stuff from time to time.

The twist is that she's not a hero. I made the main villain into the protagonist. You frustrated?

Either way, making a new channel will go sour just as quickly as there are a bunch of people who just frequent all the 'creative' channels for whatever reasons they have, so you'll get the same people no matter what
