People are still working on how to change and add new religions, I guess. Basic playable are catholic, orthodox and heresies + you can convert to muslim/pagans during the course of the game

Looks interesting, I'll probably pirate it since even though I like paradox games I am complete and utter shit at them and spend my first 5 hours in the menus just trying to figure it all out only to find out that I've managed to fuck things up entirely thirty minutes later.

I might actually have ADD, but it's all the management that I can't do. I can play total war games since I'm really good at combat tactics, but I just can't manage everything else. It's always been a massive problem in any strategy game.I can build, organize, and lead a army with great success, but my economy and diplomacy just goes in the shitter while doing so because once I go to war, the only thing that'll stop me from rolling on to the next faction/country is bankruptcy in which stops me from resupplying/reinforcing.

In a grand strategy game, especially those from paradox, I just can't manage the entire nation without fucking something up in the first hour of actual gameplay.

CK I was actually my first Paradox Grand Strategy Game.
The rest of the games just come naturally to me after CK. I miss the whole dynasty thing though. Glad they made a CK II.

First thing to know is that while in EUIII and such, you can take over the entire map. Can't really do that in CK. Just try to manage you own small parts of land at first.

Although I managed to take over nearly the entire map in CK I, that's not something you should really try to do. That's not what the game is about.

In CK, just like in EU you can easily get to big to fall, when any rebellions just get crushed by near endless amount of troops you can summon from other vassals. The game turns really tedious though, as it's a perpetual cycle of whack a mole with buttmad counts and dukes.
Conquering whole world is just a question of how well you can handle the tedious management.

I updated the thing. Shinto isn't in the Christian religious group anymore and there's an event that fires within a few weeks of starting the game that converts you to shinto so you can declare holy war on christians now. I also added a few holy orders and merc groups cause you can't use the Christian ones anymore.

The game is full of graphical bugs. The textures or whatnot stretches at random directions to infinity, and it looks awful.
All while I love the Paradox games and while I am sure this game too, is also great. I am glad I didn't buy it if I can't get it to work properly.

I am fairly sure it has to do with compatibility issues.
So in a sense, hardware issues, but at the same time their fault for not adapting their 3d-engine for this kind of stuff.
