I'm not going to lie, /jp/, I'm absolutely proud of being a touhoufag.

Because this means I'm in the most wonderful fandom in the world. A fandom that has spawned just so fucking much fan-works it has literally reached the point where it's self-sustaining, in the form of fandom fans who might be secondary but are enough to keep this whole shit alive without even requiring ZUN's intervention. There's even variety within the medium to never make it boring: goofy happy stuff like Colonel Aki's Life of Maid, hot perverted stuff like all the doujins you can find at Nekohentai, horror stuff like The Maid and the Bloody Watch of Fate or that one doujin where Ran kills Reimu because Yukari is having lesbian sex with her, with the excuse that Reimu's miko powers are hurting Yukari's youkai powers, or Japanese period-like works like Flower-viewing Sake in a Dream’s Interval.

I'm a Touhou game fan. Every single Touhou player I've met has this whole Touhou shit taking up a huge part of their train of thought. It's such a huge part of our lives, that as soon as we meet a fellow Touhou player, we bond. You need to have a huge power level but that's easy to build, just get into the games and they will just show you the way. Having been to all kinds of social events, corporate events, graduation parties, baptism parties, weddings, cocktail galas, house parties, barbecues with friends and nights at the club I seriously have never found it so easy to meet new people, and I've never had so much fun in a long time, than last week when I went to a Touhou meet-up.

Having been through school, work and career, having experienced different countries, having met a lot of people from all wakes of life, and having consumed many entertainment works, I can safely say that Touhou is my true life blood. My undying love for Touhou, and the staggering amount of fan-made material, is just enough for me to think this is the real shit, the only shit worth following.

May I inform you, my friend, that as much as I am the world's most colossal touhoufag, I am also better than all you NEETs. I know people can be proud of the craziest things. This thread is just the Touhou version of the 'outspoken animefags vs closet animefags' thread so many similar arguments are going to apply here.

I 1cc'd every single touhou game at the same time on lunatic with my eyes closed, while sleeping and without moving left.

I read every single official book ATLEAST 500 times and can play all of ZUNs songs on a piano and on my trumpet including all the extra remixes on the additional CDs. I also never even saw a single picture of a doujin or fanart.

I also went to Gensokyo, learned how to fly, became the new Hakurei miko, solved all incidents and then returned to the outside world to post this one post on /jp/.

Anyone who isn't as primary as me has no right to enjoy touhou.
