Imerial Japanese gift/ Japanese party

Hey guys.

I've talked about my Japanese friends and my Japanese Imerial sterling silver medal before.

This medal to the left isn't my medal ,just a random one (Still it is simular) and mine is valued around $55 - $70 dollars.

I am going to a long standing Japanese friend's party for his 21st birthday tonight.

I bought the medal thinking I could maybe give it to hime when he leaves America and then it happens to be his birthday.

I don't really want to give him the medal anymore, because it's become a specil investment for me.

I want to give him something to remind him of his culture of Japan and am in a big enough city to find something.

Do you have any ideas /jp/?
