How do you feel about intoxicants as a form of escapism?
after all, escapism is the essence of otaku culture.
I personally find using intoxicants increasing the connectivity I feel when partaking in my other otaku escapism methods.
There's times where I'll read a VN drunk and hit a scene that makes me actually cry and feeling real, raw emotion.
Then on a different playthough sober, it's still very touching, but it all feels kind of hollow.

There are so many things wrong with Silk Road. You'd have to be a real idiot to buy drugs online, even going through tor.

Bitcoins are trackable, you have to give out your address to a stranger (and due to the nature of tor, feedback is really, really irrelevant) and you have to hope that your package goes through customs without being checked.
